Some 420,000 athletes have been trained to participate in marathons, triathlons, cycle events, and hikes. As a result of their commitment and effort, survival rates for lymphoma and myeloma have doubled in the last five decades, and survival rates for leukemia have quadrupled. LLS is working to move 10 new therapies to clinical trials by 2011 a goal that will directly help save and enhance lives.
